Body/Mind Therapy
Kathleen Campbell
"One cannot guide someone within, unless they have deeply touched the honesty within themselves first."

Why Body/Mind
Our thoughts and emotions run the show. If we could just simply change our thoughts at will, we’d all be perfect human beings. So what's going on?
Habitual thoughts, emotions and past experiences trigger stress that gets stored in the body as tension. As a result, they keep recycling, not only hijacking our sense of wellbeing, but our overall health. Once we have the experience of releasing these stressors, we begin to directly experience a sense of inner ease and our indwelling wisdom.
For You
Our Work Together Provides:
An Individualized approach, whether it’s physical pain, life stressors, or historical stressors that are known or even unknown.
Assurance you feel heard, comfortable and supported, using skillful guidance through informal but direct conversation.
When appropriate, an introduction of simple Breath Techniques to recognize and access the stored tensions in the body.
This leads to those “ah-ha” moments of authentic insight, tension release and inspiration resulting in a sense of inner peace and ease.
A trusting connection develops with productive feedback, allowing us to collaborate and create new strategies going forward.
For those interested, we can explore moving into deeper meditative experiences.

“Kathy’s calm, patient and caring manner are what I found to be most effective in my counseling sessions with her over the time we spent together. I would gladly recommend her to anyone looking to explore self-help therapy outside of the traditionally accepted psychiatric circle.”

About Me
As a body/mind therapist for over 35 years, I have intentionally taken the road less traveled. Carving out a unique path of training and studying, I’ve focused in specific areas of complementary modalities and turned over a lot of stones. I’ve traveled extensively, searching and researching many ancient and current uniquely effective systems. As one part of all this exploration, I have taught and trained others in one of the original forms of hatha yoga and meditation brought to the US from India.
What I discovered early on, and what has become the foundation of this therapy is; one cannot guide someone within, unless they have touched honestly and deeply within themselves first.
I’ve been extremely grateful to witness and participate in many, many people’s transformations that have impacted their lives and mine for the better. I can’t think of anywhere else I’d rather be.
